Making an Application
If you are considering making an application to the Waikato River Authority for funding please read our Funding Strategy first to check whether your project meets the funding criteria. This is available in the Key Documents section of our website. Once you are ready to write your application click on the 'Make an Application' button below. This will take you to our application page.
Note: You do not have the ability to start an application before 2 July, but you can preview the application form prior to this date.
All applications must be made online, but it is possible to access a Word copy of the application WRA Word application form 2018
If your application is based on a project in the Waikato and Waipa River Restoration Strategy it is expected that a detailed assessment of the work required has been undertaken including detailed costings. The costs contained in the Restoration Strategy are broad estimates.
Health and Safety
All successful applicants must provide the Waikato River Authority with organisational and project specific Health and Safety information prior to the deed of funding being signed for their project.
